Subcontracting sources sought for a contract proposal on an approved P.L. 93-638 project. Work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment to provide 21 housing units consisting of 13 single family units w/garages, 2-2 bedroom duplexes w/garages, and 2-1 bedroom duplexes w/garages; 13 new garages attached to existing housing; and repair and/or replacement of existing driveways, sidewalks, roads and curb/gutters serving 29 existing housing units all located on the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indian Reservation. The estimated price is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This project was designed in English units, and shall be constructed in English units. A refundable fee of $150 per set of bid documents is required. Checks are to be made payable to Smith, Geston and Duffy Company. Bid documents will be available on or about June 9, 1995, at the Office of the Architect/Engineer, Smith, Geston and Duffy Company, P.O. Box 828, Fargo, ND 58107-0828, from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Contract completion time is 365 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Indian preference clauses will be in specifications. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the Tribe. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
