Ott, (803) 743-0913 It is the intention of this solicitation to obtain construction, alteration and repair of Governmentat the Naval Weapons Station Charleston area by means of an indefinite-quantity contract of the items specifiedeffective for a 12 month period. This contract also provides for an additional four (4) twelve month option years,to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Delivery or performance shall be specified inindividual delivery orders issued hereunder. Individual order performance time will be negotiated in accordance withClause G.2, Delivery Order Procedures in the solicitation. The proposed contract is being considered for 100percent set aside for small disadvantaged (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, butnot later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Officerlisted above evidence of capability to perform, including performance and credit references, former contracts ofsimilar size and complexity, and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economicallydisadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued onan unrestricted basis without further notice.
