Z -- SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR KNMD 92-4040, EXTERIOR REPAIR/LEAD ABATEMENT, FT KAM HSG, HICKAM AFB HAWAII SOL F64605-95-B0010 DUE 083195 POC H'STRELLA A. CROOM, CONTRACTING OFFICER, (808) 449-6860 Ext 306. Work includes but is not limited repainting of the exteriors of 30 existing dwelling units and 12 carports in the Ft Kamehameha family housing area located on Hickam AFB HI. The existing dwelling units contain leaded paint and the dwelling units are on the Historic Register. All paint will be removed and the substrates shall be repaired as required prior to primer and painting. Other work shall include siding replacement and structural beam replacement/repair on a unit price basis. All paint removal, painting and disposal SHALL COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE AND COUNTY REGULATIONS. A solicitation will be issued on or about 31 July 95 in compliance with Public Law 100-656, Business Opportunity Development Program Act of 1988, establishing a test of unrestricted competition. The estimated cost of construction is between $l million and $5 million dollars. Requests for the solicitation must be in writing or may be faxed to (808) 449-7026.
