Specialist, (215) 656-6894. The vessel to be acquired is to be an all
aluminum or all steel, welded Tender. The vessel is to be approximately
45 feet long, 15 feet wide and have maximum draft of 3 feet at the
stern. The vessel will be twin screw and capable of attaining a minimum
speed of 10 knots. The vessel will have a deckhouse, adequately sized
for six occupants, with a 360-degree external view available from the
pilot control console. The vessel is intended to support the
Maintenance and Repair Mission of the Philadelphia District at their
Chesapeake and Delaware Canal Project. Testing will be required to
provide quality assurance. The acquisition will be performed using a
``Design and Build'', Lump Sum, Fixed Price method. The Invitation for
Bids (IFB) will be available on or about 27 June 1995 with a bid
opening date of 27 July 1995. Specifications and Full Size Drawings
will be furnished at a charge of $35.00 per set. All checks are to be
drawn to ``FAO, USAED, Norfolk'' and must include your Federal Tax
Identification Number. Payment will not be refunded and specifications
need not be returned. All requests must include a physical address,
