The Department of the Treasury, Departmental Offices intends to competitively award a firm fixed price contract for the lease of approximately 300 Regular Bravo Pagers, 75 Skypagers and 10 Alpha numeric pagers. The Contractor shall lease to the Government the pagers with the following characteristics: Bravo Regular Pagers shall have air time coverage twenty four hours per day that will reach the areas north of Baltimore, MD; east of Annapolis, MD; west of Front Royal, VA and south of Fredericksburg, VA. The Bravo regular pagers shall have a 12-digit crystal display that informs the person carrying the pager if the pager is on, the type of alert to which the pager is set, the number of new messages received and the battery efficiency level. The Skypagers and Advisor Alpha numeric pagers shall have nationwide coverage. (State and City listing attached). Skypagers shall have the same 12-digit crystal display as listed above. Advisor Alpha numeric pagers shall have up to 80 characters displayed on a single highly readable screen where messages can be read with ease. The numeric pagers shall have the following characteristics: (a) a variety of alert signals such as standard operating beeps, silent beeps with vibrating stimulation, and a flashing message light indicator; (b) a memory function that allows at least five numbers to be saved indefinitely until removed by the person carrying the pager; (c) the capability to scan messages so that duplicate messages will not take up memory space; and (d) turnaround time that is not longer than one and a half minutes. The proposed contract will consist of one base year with four (4) one year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business.
