Furnish and install Custom Designed Sign-in Counters, to include quantities for eleven, (11) Marine Corps Mess Halls located aboard Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California. Sign-in counters are to be custom fabricated of 3/4'' close grained, marine plywood, secured with urea based glue. Exposed top, splash and front to be covered with formica and 3/4'' by 3'' solid oak trim. Sign-in Counters will consist of a total of 3-Pieces, bolted together. Overall approximate size: 102-1/16'' X 60-1/16'' X 48''. Color of sign in counters to be coordinated with the present color scheme of each Mess Hall. Counter cabnets to be mounted on 9'' high X 1-5/8'' diameter tublar legs with stainless steel bullet feet. Units to have lift gates for access, if needed. Exact measurements and colors for each sign-in counter will be determined BY THE CONTRACTOR UPON ATTENDING A MANDATORY SITE-VISIT with the Contracting Officer during the solicitation process. Upon attending the mandatory site visit during the solicitation process, the Contractor shall be required to submitt with his sealed bid: (1) Shop drawings of the counters for installation, (2) A time-line schedule for each mess hall. Upon award of the contract, the Contractor shall be required to remove the existing sign-in counters and stage them on the Mess Hall loading dock for Government Disposal. This solicitation is a UNRESTRICED REQUIREMENT. A MANDATORY SITE VISIT SHALL BE REQUIRED. ONLY MAIL IN REQUESTS FOR IFB WILL BE AUTHORIZED. Requests for solicitations must be accompanied by a non-refundable cashier's check or money order in the amount of $10.00 made payable to the U.S. Treasury for each solicitation package desired by the Contractor.
