The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to award a contract to 3M Manufacturing Company, Building 220-9E-10, St. Paul, MN on a sole source basis for ten (10) each radar absorbing material (RAM) antenna protection kits, 3M Company PN 6210 ZMT. RAM kits will be used to partially replace existing/in-service shipboard RAM covered antenna installations, and must have compatible electromagnetic interference (EMI) dissipation characteristics. RAM material must be chemically compatible with standard Navy haze gray paint, be capable of being applied through a cold shrink process, and comply with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Occupational and Health Administration (OSHA) standards for volatile organic compounds.
