A Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) is anticipated for release on or about 12 Jul 95. The STAR Bulletin Board will also contain a copy of the DRFP excluding militarily critical technical information. Refer to CBD notice published 10 May 95 for access directions. A Briefing for Industry (BFI) and tour is scheduled for Kirtland AFB, NM on 18 Jul 95 in Bldg 414, Conference Room 3, 3550 Aberdeen Rd SE. The BFI will be from 0900 - 1100 hours with a tour of facilities from 1100 - 1200 hours. Transportation will be provided from Conference Room 3 to the facilities and return. Maps to Conference Room 3 will be provided by fax upon request. Please allow sufficient time to check in and obtain badges in Bldg 414 prior to the Kirtland BFI. Due to limited seating capacity, BFI attendance is limited to two people per organization excluding subsidiaries, i.e., subsidiaries are considered to be an organization and two people from any subsidiary can attend. A tour of facilities is scheduled at Edwards AFB, CA on 20 Jul 95 from 0900 - 1200 hours. Interested contractors should meet at the Phillips Lab gate at Edwards AFB. Maps will be provided at the BFI. Buses will depart the gate at 0900 hours sharp. Depending upon attendance, attendees will be split into groups for tours. A wrap-up session will be held from 1100 - 1200 hours for the entire group. The briefings/tours will be unclassified. However, the BFI will involve militarily critical technology data, which is controlled under the Export Control Act. Only contractors listed on the Qualified Contractors Access List (QCAL) will be permitted to attend the BFI.
