The system will use a miniature Stirling Cooler, have a minimum spatial resolution of 0.6 milliradians with a 50mm lens, and a minimum temperature sensitivity of at least .025 degrees C. The emmissivity range will be selectable from 0.1-1.0. The camera will have the ability to be remotely controlled via a RS232 input and video outputs for VGA monitor and NTSC TV with an additional 12 bit TTL output. The viewfinder will have the ability to display the infrared color image, temperature readout and status of emissitivity and gain on the viewfinder screen and the camera will have freeze frame ability and auto brightness.
