BARTHA, Contracting Officer, (805) 982-0812 The Port Hueneme Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed-price contract for the acquisition of food preparation and mess attendant services onboard ex USS DECATEUR (Self Defense Test Ship) while at sea. The ship is a decommissioned DDG, 418 feet in length, and can support up to sixty people. The ship is berthed at Port Hueneme, CA, and operates on the average of 30 days per quarter, off the Southern California Coast. Approximately 20,000 meals will be served per year.
