Pacific Contracting Center, at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii, has a requirement for OB/GYN Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to perform full-time CNM Services for the Dept of OB/GYN, Tripler. The Contractor shall perform servies in a limited area of practice with the OB/GYN specialty consisting of antepartal, intrapartal and postpartal care of obstetrical patients, care of newborns, outpatient diagnosis and management of well women care. The work involves coordination with other health care disciplines, involvement with hospital committees and administrative activities. Specialized skills are required to accomplish operative procedures and to exercise appropriate measures in life-threatening situations. Work requires periods of long standing, occasional lifting and moving of patients and physical dexterity. Acquisition is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. Period of performance shall commence 01 Oct 95 or date of award through 30 Sep 96 with a (4) year option period to extend the term of the contract is anticipated.
