Request for proposals for outreach, admission and placement services for the Job Corps program (a primarily residential vocational training program) in Region I which includes the states of Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. The contractor will ensure that 1,400 males and 1,700 females are recruited each year and that 2,714 terminated youth returning to these states will be placed into employment school or the military. RFP 1-JC-95-02 will be available approximately July 1, 1995, for issue in response to written request. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will cover the period January 1, 1996 through December 31, 1998, plus three governmental unilateral renewal options of one year. A pre-proposal conference will be conducted July 7, 1995 in the U. S. Department of Labor conference room, 10th Floor, One Congress Street, Boston, MA 02114 at 10:00 A.M.
