Satellite Broadcast - The Office of the Assistant Secretary, U.S. Army
Contracting Support Agency, has announced the Defense Acquisition
University plans to broadcast, on 28 June 1995, an orientation for the
following rules created as a result of FASA: FAR Case 94-770,

highlight the impact of the new rules on the acquisition process. The
orientation will cover: (1) the background for the new rules, (2) the
changes made to the FAR, and (3) the important points that the
participant should be able to identify in order to begin operating
under the new rules. The orientation will consist of a briefing from
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and a question and answer period from 2:00 p.m.
to 4:00 p.m. in the Sparkman Center Auditorium. Seating capacity will
be limited to 695 individuals and will be on a first come first serve
basis. Contractors should limit attendance to 3 (three)
representatives. Due to our satellite downlink capability in the
Sparkman Center Auditorium, participants will not be able to ask
questions during the question and answer period, but everyone will be
able to listen to and hear questions and answers posed from other
