This phase is primarily for repair of the second floor of building ll80. Some systems in the building, such as the hydronic system for space heating and the stacked plumbing piping for the first and second floor restrooms shall be included in this contract. Design and construct men's and women's restrooms and janitor's closets on the first and second floor, central hot water boiler and forced circulation hot water heating system complete with all related equipment for the building's space heating requirements, cabinet heater terminal units for 6,000 square feet of offices and common work areas on the second floor with provisions to add future units on the first floor and heating and air conditioning for 800 square feet of the second floor. Plans and specifications will be available on or about July ll, l995. Estimated cost range is between $l00,000 and $250,000. SIC: l7ll, $7.0M. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for l00 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but no later than l5 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern.
