Z -- INDEFINITE DELIVERY, INDEFINITE QUANTITY (ID-IQ) CONTRACT TO PROVIDE ASPHALT AND CONCRETE PAVING FOR MACDILL AFB, AND AVON PARK AFR, FL SOL F08602-95-B0020. DUE 073195. This indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials and performing all operations in connection with providing asphalt and concrete paving. The contract will consist of individual delivery orders issued to include work for base facilities, military family housing, located on MacDill AFB and Avon Park AFR, FL. The work includes asphalt paving, overlays, repair and patching, sealing rejuvenation, concrete paving (new and slab replacement), repair (including joint sealing, crack repair and sealing, and spalling repair), sidewalks (new and replacement), curbs and gutters; and paint striping. Line item prices will be bid for the base contract period. The line items for the four option periods will be adjusted by means of an economic price adjustment (R.S. Means' adjustment factor). The contract will consist of one base year plus four option years. The minimum guaranteed amount for the contract is $5,000.00 and the maximum dollar amount is estimated at $500,000.00. The bidding schedule will list the estimated maximum quantities per line item. Individual delivery orders will be limited to $50,000.00 circuits. The solicitation will be issued on or about 30 June 1995. The bid opening date will be on or about 31 July 1995. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small, disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. A letter from your bonding company indicating that you can satisfactorily bond to the maximum contract amount is required. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted, without further notice.
