Removal of asbestos containing insulation from steam, condensate, and hot water piping; decontamination and clean-up of the crawlspace under the building; removal of existing steam and condensate piping and appurtenances; removal of remnant old piping materials on the floor and still installed; repair of hot water piping system in the crawlspace and reinsulation. b. Removal of seven steam kettles and two steam cookers in the galley with associated steam and condensate piping and installation of new gas-fired kettles and cookers with respective piping and electrical work. c. Preparation for installation of a new liquefied petroleum gas tank (furnished and installed by the gas supplier) and installation of two gas-fired water heaters with associated gas and recirculating hot water and cold water piping; and d. Removal of old and replacement with new electrical conduit throughout the crawlspace and incidental related work. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
