Project consists of the replacement of a nominal 120 ton water cooled reciprocating chiller, pumps, piping, controls and electrical service in Building A-650, complete and ready for use. Additionally, the project includes the conversion of nominal 150 ton water cooled centrifugal chiller in Building A-651 from refrigerant R-500 to refrigerant R-134A, complete and ready for use. Underground chiller water supply and return piping and fittings from Building A-650 to Barracks A-648 and A-649, and from Building A-651 to Barracks A-638 and A-639 shall also be replaced. Tentative issue date of solicitation is 01 August 1995. Bid opening date of 31 August 1995 is approximate. The estimated cost range for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. SIC Code is 1711. The related small business standard is $7,000,000. Period of performance is 240 calendar days from date of award. The resulting contract will be a lump sum firm fixed price contract. This procurement solicitation will be issued as full and open competition (unrestricted).
