This project involves all labor, materials, equipment, travel and performing all operations required to repair the No. 6 fuel oil tank suction heaters and oil/water separator at Building 1201, Hanscom AFB as per contract drawings and specifications. The principle items of work include, but are not limited to removal of approximately 3000 gallons of No. 6 fuel oil from tank floor, demolition and removal of selected items such as steam to No. 6 fuel oil heaters, piping and associated controls; cutting and removing portions of existing concrete berm surface; removal and disposal of existing oil/water separator, sewer connections and associated controls; installation of new oil/water separator, sewer connections, piping, controls, leak detection system and resurfacing of concrete berm surface. The performance period for this project shall be 150 calendar days. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This is a firm fixed price contract.
