furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expert supervision to
replace trash and linen chutes located at the Department of Veterans
Affairs Medical Center, 1601 Perdido Street, New Orleans, Louisiana.
This procurement is subject to the availability of funds and a 90 day
acceptable period is mandatory. Bid opening will be held on August 8,
1995 at 2:00 PM and the Pre-Bid conference will be held on July 20,
1995 at 2:00 PM, both will be held at the DVA Medical Center, 1601
Perdido Street, Building 2, Room 407, New Orleans, LA 70146. All
requests for bid documents must be in writing and accompanied by a
$50.00 refundable bid deposit. Acceptable forms of deposits are
certified check, cashier's check or money order only. Issue date for
plans and specifications is o/a July 7, 1995 and will be issued on a
first come first serve basis. The construction cost range of this
project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The Standard
Industrialization Classification Code for this project is 1542, General
Construction-Nonresidential Buildings, Other Than Industrial Buildings
