The Navy proposes to procure six (6) Vacuum Mold Repair Systems on a sole source basis advanced composite structure repair units from Lockheed Fort Worth Company. The repair units will employ a reusable vacuum mold technique for replicating the contours of a damaged composite structure. The repair units will include the capability of providing vacuum pressure and controlled heat for processing a composite patch on the vacuum mold. The cured composite patch will then be attached to the damaged structure. Each repair unit will be termed a ''Vacuum Mold Repair System'', (VMRS), LFCW model number 761, and serial number.
