Digital Voice Intercom System (DVIS), consisting of 20 intercom units (IU) which connect to a master switch (MS). The DVIS shall be software programmable relative to channel configuration and networking control. Each IU shall be capable of being interfaced to the MS by means of a single telephone cable pair and be operable up to two miles away from the MS. Optional 4 pair wiring to each IU shall be available for IU's installed further than two miles from the MS. All mating connectors for interface to all DVIS components shall be provided. A complete copy of the specifications will be provided with the IFB--F.O.B.
