The Montana Army National Guard has a requirement to purchase ten (10) transceivers, to maintain communication with the US Forest Service and local law enforcement agencies to be mounted inside UH1 Helicopters. As a minimum, transceivers are to feature FM communications within the VHF/FM High Band with antenna and night vision goggle (ANVIS-6) compatibility. Transceivers must meet FCC and DOC certification. Detailed specifications for the transceivers will be set forth in the IFB due to be issued on or about July 5, 1995. Only written requests will be accepted. See Note 1. (163)
