The VA Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN is seeking information on Automated Unit Dose Rx System with the following features: single dose dispensing, user friendly, documentation system for charting medications, availability of large number of medications, must be a computerized unit with ability to integrate with the DHCP VA Computer System, dispense scheduled medication and PRN medication, facilitate medication returns, provide inventory accountability, track drug expiration dates, accountability for patient medication costs, facilitate stat request orders, will work independently from our main frame system if VA DHCP system is down. This is not a formal solicitation. However, concerns that respond should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities including descriptive literature and may request to receive a copy of the solicitation when it becomes available.
