This is the basic Solicitation for LAW enforcement & security equipment. Basic solicitaiton to issue on or about July 11, 1995, and scheduled to Close on or about August 15, 1995. There are 18 special item Numbers (SIN) for negotiated multiple award schedule FSC 84, part VI, section a, LAW enforcement and security equipment. The contract period is August 1, 1996 through July 31, 2001, for the following items-miscellaneous personal equipment consisting of belts, shell/cartridge cases, speed loader cases, clip holders, handcuff cases, gun and flashlight holsters, baton rings, belt straps, ID cases, etc. Composed of leather and other materials. Body armor, helmets, restraining equipment to include cuffs, batons, chemical mace/pepper spray, etc., canine training & handling equipment, emergency Signal systems-includes sirens, light bars, spot and flood lights, beacon warning devices, PA speakers and systems, control consoles. In vehicle barriers and Shields, rollover protection in vehicle restraint systems. Gun racks, night vision equipment, alcohol detection kits and devices, bomb disposal equipment, firearms storage and securing devices, earmikes, target systems/target range accessories, metal and bomb detection equipment-includes airport security, fingerprint/palmprinting equipment (takingand detection); evidential casting materials, Drug testing equipment and kits. Criminal investigative equipment and supplies consisting of-forensic investigative equipment (tissue detection and location). Questioned document examination supplies/kits. Chemical analysis test kits for testing Blood stains, gun powder residue, seminal fluid stains. Electronic countermeasure equipment ''bug'' detection devices). Invisible detection materials (theft detection). Evidence collection containers, etc. Indefinite quantity. Indefinite delivery. FOB origin to 50 States, Washington DC, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Contract period August 1, 1996 through July 31, 2001. Solicitation will be reopened 2 times(S) at approximately August 1997 and February 1999 to consider new offers. See Note 12 (trade agreements). All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
