B - The National Assessment Governing Board has a requirement to develop a national consensus for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). Specifically, the requirement is for development of recommended test specifications for a planned 1998 national and possible state writing assessments, and future NAEP assessment in writing. The period of performance shall be nine months. RFP-95-NO1 shall is issued on or about June 30, 1995. It is anticipated that the closing date for reciept will be on or about July 31, 1995.
