P.O. Box 27497, Greensboro, NC 27495-1103 C -- FIXED PRICE CONTRACT IS TO PROVIDE A/E SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN &
CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION ASSOCIATED WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF A USPS
MAIN POST OFFICE FACILITY IN THE BATESBURG/LEESVILLE, SC AREA Due

contract is for a Fixed Price Contract to perform A/E Services for the
Design & Construction Administration Services for the construction of
a 17,000 S.F. USPS Main Post Office facility in the
Batesburg/Leesville, SC Area. Firms that have the qualifications to
perform the services described previously are invited to submit a
completed SF 255, ``Architect-Engineer and Related Services
Questionnaire for Specific Project'', and a completed SF 254
``Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire.'' They must
also submit a completed SF 254 for each of its proposed consultants, to
the office shown above postmarked no later than 07/10/95. The selection
will be conducted by using both the submitted SF 255 and SF 254's.
Interested firms with more than one office must indicate on their SF
255 the staffing composition of the office in which the work will be
performed. Consideration will be given to firms responding to this
advertisement in accordance with the instruction in the following order
of preference: 1. Firms located within a 25 mile radius of
Batesburg/Leesville, SC, 2. Firms located within a 50 mile radius of
Batesburg/Leesville, SC, 3. All other firms. Architectural and
engineering firms will be considered as local only if their sole office
is in the local geographical area or they have a local branch office
and all of the architectural design, coordination, and management of
the project will be performed in that office. There is no restriction
of the geographical location of consultants. The minimum acceptable
architect and engineering complement of the prime firm and its
consultants is 2 architects, 1 electrical engineer, 1 mechanical
engineer, 1 structural engineer, and 1 civil engineer. The contract
contains a requirement for firms to provide evidence of current
insurance in the amount of not less than $200,000 of errors and
omissions per claim. Participation of Minority-Owned Businesses is a
consideration in U.S. Postal Service architect-engineer selections. It
is prohibited to pay any fee, commission, percentage, or brokerage fee
to any person or firm contingent upon or resulting from, award of a
contractor for this project. No other notification for this project
will be made. Submissions will not be retained or returned. This is not
