This is a modification of the synopsis N00024-95-R-2003 which was first synopsized on 31 May 1995. The synopsis detailed the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIB) Industry Briefing that will be held 29 June 1995 and the draft Performance Requirements Specification (PRS) that is available for comment. This modification to the 31 May 1995 synopsis is to inform industry that a transition from the Naval Sea Systems Command to the Special Operations Command/Special Operations Research Development Acquisition Command (SOCOM/SORDAC) as the procuring agency will occur in the near future. At this time, the Industry Briefing remains scheduled for 29 June 1995 at Special Boat Unit Twenty, NAB Little Creek, Norfolk, VA. As a result of this transition, there exists the possibility that assumptions and decisions concerning this program that are made prior to the date of the Industry Briefing may also change. When the transition occurs, a notice will be placed in the CBD so stating.
