SYSTEM AT ASCENSION ISLAND, REPAIR WATER AND SEWER LINES, UNDERGROUND
TANK REMOVAL AT ANTIGUA ISLAND Sol CSR 95610003. Due 081095. Contact

United States Air Force at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida. Place of
Subcontract performance is Ascension Island, South Atlantic Ocean.
Description of work: Install Back-up Power, Various Facilities. Work
includes, but is not limited to: Constructing a 500sf concrete block
building to contain the normal and emergency electrical feed and
associated control equipment in three different locations on the
island. Work includes relocation and/or new installation of 15KV
primary transformers, transfer switches and generators; installation of
new lighting and power circuits in the facilities; formation of a new
25KV electrical duct from the existing electrical substation to the new
enclosed equipment within the backup power buildings; demolition of
existing pole type transformer bank super structure and/or dry
electrical substations. Description of Work: Maintain Sea Ground
System. Work includes, but is not limited to: Repairing existing Sea
Ground units A,B,C and Static Ground POL, adding Chemical Earth Ground
System at seven (7) sites, replacing Sea Ground at two sites with
Chemical Earth Ground System, replacing 4/0 bare copper wire from ocean
electrode to 100 feet from water edge at three (3) sites. Place of
performance is Antigua Island, West Indies. Description of work: Repair
Water and Sewer Lines. Work includes, but is not limited to: Replacing
approximately 6,000 linear feet of 4'' PVC potable water line,
replacing service connections and metering to all facilities, replacing
approximately 5,000 linear feet of 8'' PVC sewer collection system,
constructing 16-20 manholes and demolition of several existing
manholes. Extensive coordination on-site will be required due to U/G
utilities. All routing to be documented in Digital CAD format
As-Builts. Description of work: Underground Tank Removal. Work
includes, but is not limited to: Removal and cleaning of an existing
5000 gal underground Mogas tank and soil, removal and cleaning of an
existing aboveground diesel tank, installation of a new 5000 gal
aboveground Mogas tank and associated piping, electrical work and
landscaping, cleaning of an additional 2000 gal aboveground tank for
temporary fueling operations. Estimated value is between $1,000,000 and
