PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. Project no. WP 82-0016P5-P7. Improve Family
Housing Units, Page Manor, performance period is 150 calendar days;
Improve Family Housing Sea Unit, Woodland Hills, performance period is
90 calendar days; and Improve Family Housing SOQ Units, Brick Quarters
area, performance period is 150 calendar days. SIC 1522. Size Standard
$17,000,000. Estimated cost of proposed acquisition is between
$1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Work includes interior renovation and
additions to existing units, site improvements and associated
mechanical and electrical items. Three options may be awarded. No tel
requests. Only written requests received directly from the requestor
are acceptable. Requests for solicitation documents must be accompanied
by a non-refundable check or money order in the amount of $15.00, made
payable to Accounting and Finance. Small and disadvantaged firms are
encouraged to participate as prime contractors or as members of joint
ventures with other small businesses and all interested contractors are
reminded that the successful contractor will be expected to place
subcontracts to the maximum practicable extent with small and
disadvantaged firms in accordance with the provisions of Public Law
95-507. This solicitation will be issued approx 95 Jul 03. All
responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which
shall be considered. An Ombudsman has been established for this
acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and
communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror
prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concern
during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. Potential
offerors should use established channels to request information, pose
questions, and voice concerns before resorting to use of the Ombudsman
located in ASC/CY, Bldg 2041, 2511 L St, Wright-Patterson AFB OH
