The project consists of furnishing manpower, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision needed for Roof Replacement and Structural Repairs as further defined in the summary of work in the specification and contract documents. The work includes but is not limited to removal and replacement of the roof, removal of asbestos siding, repair of masonry chimney and addition of stainless steel liner, removal of several sections of roof and addition of new roof trusses, including the removal and reinstallation of HVAC units and new curbs, seismic upgrade of beams, joists and LOG, reinforcement of a section of the loading dock's roof and columns. Removal of asbestos cement siding is to be performed by an asbestos abatement contractor licensed in the State of Washington. A copy of the license is to be provided with the proposal. The work hours and areas are described in Section 01500, Page 20. Offeror's are to provide with their proposal a listing of project experience of comparable size and scope, completed within the last five years. Provide bar chart schedule with proposal. The estimated cost range is between $450,000 and $510,000. A Preproposal Conference has been scheduled for June 23, 1995, in the Employees' Parking Lot at the Processing & Distribution Center, 900 Jefferson Street, Olympia, WA 98501-9998 at 10:00 A.M.
