PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - The project covered by this statement consists of furnishing all plant, labor, supplies, equipment, materials and transportation to repair bituminous pavement roads and parking lots. Work includes but is not limited to reclamation of 220 LF of paved road and 700 SY of paved parking lot, grading, paving, sealing, and application of thermoplastic pavement markings. All work is at Otis Air National Guard Base, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Performance period is 50 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed, prime contractor must, as a minimum, perform 60% of all work. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This project is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested 8(a), SDB, ESB, and Small Businesses should notify this office, in writing, of their interest to bid the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 12 June 1995. All written responses must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern under SIC 1611, ''Highway and Street Construction, Except Elevated Highways''. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all business concerns regardless of business size or status. Solicitation packages are not yet available but are expected to be released on/about 30 June 1995. See Note 4. (0164)
