This requirement is for inspection and repair (Phase I/II) of the Main Rotor Transmission unique to MDHS 369D, 500 series aircraft (D, E, and F models) which have been modified into MH-6/AH-6 special operations configurations. Period of performance shall be from time of award through 31 Dec 95, with options to extend for two additional years. This will be on one contract. No split award will be made. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. Competition is restricted to MDHS authorized maintenance centers. Known sources are Heli-Dyne, Inc. and McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems. Firms that recognize and can produce the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves to the Contracting Officer which will permit their participation in current or future solicitations.
