Solicitations are not available nor does the Government intend to pay for information sought. The Department of Defense, Television-Audio Support Activity, (T-ASA), is seeking to identify sources of supply that can provide LCD Data/Video Projectors with the following minimum specifications and capabilities: High resolution color projection system capable of projecting high quality video images on a non-reflective wall in large conference room with all shades open and lights on in the back of the room; self contained, light weight, compact projector and color LCD panel in single unit; built-in software to allow computer generated presentations without use of externally connected computer; support full motion video; hardened construction to allow unit to be used in field environment; capability of viewing LCD monitor and projected image simultaneously; self-contained sound system with built-in amplifier, stereo speakers and microphone input for audio enhanced presentations; capability of capturing images from any software; project 16 million colors; 640 x 480 resolution; 8.4 inch active matrix TFT color LCD; built-in lamp changer; user replaceable bulbs; full NTSC, PAL and SECAM video support; input ports/jacks to support composite, S-video, RGB, computer, audio and microphone inputs; rear screen projection mode; multi-function programmable keypad/remote control; instruction manuals; soft carrying case; 100-240VAC, 50/60HZ auto select power; shall meet airline requirements for carry-on baggage; cables to support external computer inputs. There are no Government owned drawings or technical literature for the equipment described herein. Firms with the ability to furnish this type of equipment are encouraged to submit a written statement and comprehensive technical literature. Telephone responses to this action will not be accepted.
