FRAME, CONTRACTING OFFICER, (202) 634-4597 The Department of Energy (DOE) intends to enter into a contract to purchase Mark #30 Steel Floor Panels perforated with dampers, vinyl covers, 2' and 6' stringers, bolts and heads for the DOE Germantown computer center. This contract action is for supplies only, no installation that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, specifically Irvine Floors. This flooring is by the same manufacturer that is currently in use at the facility. Interested person(s) may identify their interest and capability in writing to respond to the requirements or to submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received within thirty days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
