Provide one Type III helicopter (less than 6,000 pounds) with pilot and service truck driver to be used primarily for initial attach fire suppression, prescribed burning, and other administrative use for one year beginning approximately August 1, 1995. Helicopter will be located at the following bases: Glassy Mt. GA 8/1 to 11/30/95 and 2/1 to 4/30/96; Tallahassee FL 12/1/95 to 1/31/96 and 5/1 to 7/31/96. The contract will provide for two additional option years which may be exercised by the Government. Standard Forest Service Fire Fighting is required (collapsible bucket, 9600 channel radio, foam suppressant mixing equipment, global positioning system (GPS) receiver and indicator. Special equipment to be required will be a 4-wheel drive servicing vehicle. (164)
