The purpose of this sole source acquisition is to conduct two (2), two and one-half day technical assistance workshops for the program directors of the 85 accredited preventive medicine (PM) residency programs in the U.S. These workshops will assemble residency directors, a major linkage point between academic medicine and the Bureau of Health Professions (BHPr), in order to strenghten academic training and practicum experiences for future PM physicians. The workshops will focus on program development and on providing program assistance to the participants. ACPM is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services as set forth in 41 U.S.C. 41(c)(1).
