The Department of Defense initiated a Business Process Reengineering effort which concluded in July 1994 and initiated the creation of the Records Management Task Force in January 1995. The Department of Defense is sponsoring the 2nd Annual DoD ``Managing Information As Records'' Conference and Exposition scheduled for the week of August 28, 1995 - August 31, 1995 in Memphis, Tennessee.
