The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquistition by providing to the contracting office above evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disdvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the contracting officer for this contract and until the contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the contracting officer. The contractor shall furnish eleven (11) seven passenger vans for use at the Navy Ships Parts Control Center, Mechanicsburg, PA. Vehicles shall be equipped with all equipment necessary to its lawful operation, with all standard production equipment for the model designated. Equipment shall include air conditioning, electronic rear window defroster, dual power mirrors, seven passenger seating, tilt wheel, speed control, power windows and locks, power driver seat, radio and keyless entry. The color shall be green exterior, compatible interior, engine size V6 or V8. Number of days in contract: 365 with option to extend the term of the contract one additional year.
