The scope of the project consist of designing and building in metric units an Education Center at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The Education Center consist of approximately 5,793 sqare meters of classroom and support spaces. The facility will also require the design and construction of associated car and truck hardstand, site utilities, and other site improvements on a cleared site located on the base in the counties of Christian county, Kentucky and Montgomery County, Tennessee. The Education Center will be used to provide adult educational services. The RFP is based upon a 35% design, with the intent to obtain a professionally designed and constructed facility in compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Proposals will be rated on the following evaluation criteria, listed in descending order of importance: (1) Project Management Plan; (2) Qualifications and Experience; (3) Price; and (4) Technical. The estimated value $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00. Solicitation to be issued o/a 30 June 1995, and may be obtained by submitting a check payable to the U.S. Army Engineer District, Louisville, in the amount of $86.00 for half-size plans and specifications and/or $100.00 for full-size plans and specifications.
