Request for proposal for modification of the existing 320 gpm groundwater treatment facility at Hanscom AFB, MA. The existing treatment facility is a pre-engineered metal building comprised primarily of the process area. Process equipment to be provided under this request for proposal includes an Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) which shall be capable of treating the groundwater for the contaminants of concern as well as microbial reduction. Construction work outside the treatment plant consists of extraction well pumps and piping. The work shall also consist of operation of the modified groundwater treatment facility and extraction well system for one year after completion of the modifications to the treatment facility. During the one year of operation and maintenance, responsibilities shall include sampling and reporting. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
