The facility is an eight story multi-use facility with 484,775 gross square ft. housing approximately 1000 people in both laboratory and office space. The successful offeror will furnish all labor, materials, and equipment in order to provide a full range of building operational maintenance and support services involving: an understanding of the criticality of positive/negative one pass air flow relationships, the ability to devise innovative solutions to unique three dimensional problems arising out of intricate interrelationships of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems that are analagous to food and drug research facilities, and corporate expertise in engineering and management skills that can provide sound leadership. A fixed price contract is contemplated with a one year performance period with four (4) one year option periods. This award is being made on an unrestricted basis as part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
