Z -- IMPROVE NHCU PATIENT ENVIRONMENT, PHASE II SOL IFB: 533-2-96 DUE 090195 POC Contact Point, Renate Rainboth, (914)838-5263 Furnish all labor, material, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to completely construct a two (2) story addition with partial basement and penthouse to Building #19, a new one (1) story recreation building with partial basement and an enclosed walkway system constructed on top of an existing enclosed tunnel space. This work will include excavation, site work, demolition, asbestos abatement, footing, foundations, electric, mechanical, plumbing, utilities, sprinkler, nurse's partitions, ceilings, interior and exterior windows, stairway, concrete ramp and railing, wood roof trusses, steel framing, masonry, concrete floors, roofing, interior and exterior finishes. All work shall be in accordance with the project drawings, specifications, national, local and applicable codes as per requirements of all governing agencies. A $100.00 refundable bid deposit is required with written request and check made payable to Department of Veterans Affairs. A limited number of bidding documents (one set per prime contractor) will be available O/A August 1, 1995, on a first come first serve basis until supply is exhausted. Construction cost range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. SIC #1542 applies. Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for 8/15/95, 10:00AM, Bldg. 9, Room 209. Bid Opening Date is 9/1/95 at 2:30PM.
