The South Dakota Army National Guard is interested in procuring a ``jump trailer'', purchase request W5BM1S-5157-9001. The jump trailer must have the capability of transporting a Government-owned Scraper, Earth Moving, Caterpillar Brand MDL 621 or equivalent. The National Stock Number of the Scraper is 3805-01-153-1854. When the scraper is being transported the front wheels of the scraper will set on the jump trailer, while the scraper rear tires trail behind. A Government-owned semi-tractor MDL M920 (NSN: 2320-01-028-4397) will be utilized to pull the jump trailer. The semi-tractor is equipped with a fifth-wheel hitch. Hitch specifications are as follows: Make/Model: Holland/FW-70-0-15; Type: 36 in. dia. - full four-way oscillating; Rated Capacity: 70,000 lbs. vert., 200,000 lbs. drawbar; King Pin Size: 3.5 in.; Pitch-Forward/AFT: 15/19 degrees. Additional jump trailer specifications will be provided within the solicitation package. In regards to business size, this procurement is unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5012. The applicable small business size standard is no more than 500 employees.
