First Article required. Contractors who have successfully passed First Article Environmental Qualification Testing on previous contracts on identical or similar items may submit past test data for Government review and possible waiver of the First Article Unit and Environmental Test requirements. Contractors who have submitted and received approval of an Acceptance/ESS Test Procedure on a prior contract of the identical item and have not changed the processes to build the items, may submit the appropriate information for conformation may request a waiver of the Acceptance/Ess Test Procedure. Contractors who have been approved for a Part Stress Analysis Prediction on previous contracts of identical or similar items may submit past test data for Government review and possible waiver of the Part Stress Analysis Prediction Report as requried.
