Moy (301) 975-4999/Pauline Mallgrave (301) 975-6330 The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for an injection seedable Optical Parametric Oscillator (OPO). The OPO shall be based upon the use of a potassium titanyl phosphaste (KTP) non-linear optical crystal and produce pulsed, optical radiation between 1.3 and 1.5 micrometers with a single shot bandwidth less than or equal to 170 MHz with pulse energies greater than or equal to 2.5 mJ. All prospective offerors shall demonstrate previous design, assembly, delivery of a similar OPO system. Detailed specifications will be available in the solicitation package. The delivery of the OPO is reuqired one hundred and twenty (120) days after the date of contract award (F.O.B. Destination - Gaithersburg, MD).
