This is a Pre-Solicitation notice. The New Jersey National Guard proposes to award a contract for the construction of the Consolidated New Jersey National Guard Headquarters in Fort Dix, New Jersey. Project consists of an addition of 49,270 square feet and an alteration of 795 square feet. The proposed construction consists of a two story permanent masonry addition and drill hall. This solicitation provides for multiple line items and additive bids, of which must be addressed in order to be considered for this solicitation. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials required to perform the work in strict accordance with the contract documents. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. This solicitation is unrestricted. Only prime contractors should reply. There will be a non refundable charge for each solicitation package. All request for solicitation package must include solicitation number, point of contact, telephone number and facsimile number. Bidders must also identify their status as small disadvantaged business (SDB), emerging small business (ESB), section 8(a) small business act contractors, small business or large business. Women-owned, small and small disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to compete. Requests for bid documents must be in writing accompanied by a check made payable to the U.S. Treasury.
