Lamps are to fit in any fixture in whicha-line incandescent lamps fit with equivalent or better light quality as incandescent lamps, minimum average life of 3,000 hours, and 30% energy savings realized (minimum efficacy of 25 lpw). Lamps will be utilized in all Military services Family housing/ Barracks, Commercial and industrial Government facilities estimated quantity is 2.2 million peryear. Duration of contract period will be three years for development and supply of the basic quantity with two one-year options for additionalquantities.
