The GSA, Region 3 will issue an RFP for the Purchase of Telecommunications and Services (POTS). Four (4) indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery type contracts for one (1) year with two (2) one-year options will be issued. These contracts will cover the geographical areas of; Zone A: State of New Jersey; Zone B: New York State - The Counties of Oneida, Otsego, Hamilton, Greene, Westchester, Albany, Washington, Lewis, Delaware, Fulton, Ulster, Putnam, Rennsselaer, Warren, St. Lawrence, Sullivan, Montgomery, Orange, Dutchess, Schenectady, Essex, Herkimer, Franklin, Schoharie, Rockland, Columbia, Saratoga and Clinton; Zone C: New York State - The Counties of Jefferson, Broome, Tompkins, Yates, Steuben, Wyoming, Niagara, Oswego, Chenango, Tioga, Seneca, Livingston, Allegany, Chautauqua, Onondaga, Madison, Chemung, Wayne, Orleans, Cattaraugus, Cortland, Cayuga, Schuyler, Ontario, Genesee and Erie; Zone D: New York City - the five boroughs of New York City and the New York Counties of Nassau and Suffolk. The resulting contracts will be non-mandatory for GSA consolidated users and exclusive agencies in the geographic areas covered. Required services will include installations, repairs, moves, changes, deinstallations, wiring and rearrangements of Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) and identical Government owned equipment. Equipment/services which will be acquired under these contracts will include: Telephone Instruments, digital electronic systems and common equipment, misc. telecommunications equipment, wiring and cable. The proposed solicitation is expected to be issued approximately 03 July 1995 with a closing date of 17 August 1995. All responsible sources are invited to submit a proposal which shall be considered by GSA, Region 3. (166)
