Purchase of Communications System Analyzer Model R-2670A FDMA Digital - 24 each, Canvas Carrying Cases - 24 each; Battery Packs - 24 each. This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source contract to Motorola, 2330 Ridgemont Drive, Finksburg, MD 21048 for the items cited above. This equipment is capable of testing Motorola Trunking, ASTRO and SECURNET radio systems. The systems includes a tracking generator, cable fault testing, high stability, high performance spectrun analyzer with markers and programmable test set-up memory. Offerors who can furnish the required items, may submit, in writing, a proposal substantiated by technical data, brochures, etc. to include pricing (FOB Destination). All responses must be received within 15 calendar days of the date of this CBD notice. All responses from responsible sources submitting the required information will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation. No contract award will be made on the basis of any responses to this notice, as the synopsis of intent shall not be considered a solicitation document. (166)
