Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA 22203, in connection with Contract # MDA972-93-C-0003, intends to award a single source procurement to Loral Defense Systems, Litchfield Park, AZ. for the procurement of a high-fidelity Radar Image Simulation System (RISS) for use in its existing advanced War Breaker Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) experiments and exercises. This system will exploit the ARPA War Breaker software suite, existing Government furnished target signature prediction software, and an image scene generation capability to provide a real-time software/hardware in-the-loop simulation for use in evaluating a broad range of image sensor and platform concepts.
